Some experience with yoga for scoliosis can be beneficial for this course.

Twists are plentiful in yoga. However they can be quite the challenge with scoliosis, because our spine already twists. How our spine rotates depends on the curves we have. Thus, I will explain a little bit more about understanding the twist in our spine, while offering awareness exercises to integrate this knowledge.
Twists are a challenge, but can also be super beneficial for the health of your spine and dealing with pain.
During these 3 classes we will:
- Learn about the rotation of your scoliosis
- Learn about benefits of twist and the pitfalls with scoliosis
- Awareness exercises for your specific curve
- How to apply the knowledge in other twisting movements
- Share experiences
Classes will be via Zoom and taught in English. Make sure your camera and sound work. Find a spot in your home, where you can see me well and I can see you.

*If you had a surgery, this course can still be helpful in your awareness of twisting with your back and working with your existing rotation of the ribs. We will not go into any deep twists.
